In order to accelerate the opening up of education, promote the high-quality development of Chinese-foreign cooperative education in our province, build a platform for exchanges between Chinese-foreign cooperative education, create a Chinese-foreign cooperative education “brand of Longjiang”, cultivate more innovative, complex and practical talents in line with the needs of the development and construction of Longjiang, and give assistance to Longjiang’s comprehensive and all-round revitalization, and with the support of the Provincial Department of Education and the brother colleges and universities, Harbin Engineering University, facing the province’s universities, initiated the establishment of the alliance of Chinese-foreign cooperative colleges and universities in Heilongjiang province. On June 28, the inaugural meeting of the alliance was held at Harbin Engineering University. The leaders of China Education Association for International Exchange and Provincial Department of Education, the famous experts in the field of Chinese-foreign cooperative education and the representatives of colleges and universities attended the meeting. The meeting unanimously adopted the statute (draft) of the alliance of Chinese-foreign cooperative colleges and universities in Heilongjiang province, and established the Council of the alliance.

The alliance of Chinese-foreign cooperative education in Heilongjiang province is composed of 31 colleges and universities in our province, which is committed to promoting the in-depth integration of domestic and foreign high-quality educational resources through Chinese-foreign cooperative education, building an exchange platform with complementary advantages, resource sharing and win-win cooperation, and enhancing the overall level of Chinese-foreign cooperative education in Heilongjiang Province. Since the establishment of the alliance, our school has fully supported and actively joined the alliance. In the future, the university will promote resource sharing and interconnection with the brother universities of the alliance, accurately grasp the policy guidance of Chinese-foreign cooperative education, earnestly study and learn from the advanced and typical experiences to continuously improve the quality of cooperative education, give full play to the benefits of cooperative education, drive the cultivation of talents, scientific research, and the construction of teachers, and help to build a high-level university of applied technology with distinctive characteristics.
